Walmart writes massive checks to victims of 2014 accident involving actor/comedian Tracy Morgan.
While the absolute sum has not been disclosed (as part of the agreement), Walmart has undoubtedly agreed to pay large amounts to Morgan, the family of a man who died, and two others who were seriously injured. According to the original complaint, the driver of Walmart's 18-wheeler that rear-ended Morgan's limo on a New Jersey turnpike in 2014, was driving over the speed limit and hadn't slept in more than 24 hours.
Morgan said in a statement, "Walmart did right by me and my family, and for my associates and their families."
