Bug Juice, a popular drink for children, has issued a voluntary recall due to the risk of contamination with plastic or metal shavings.
The company announced that the recall is being issued out of an abundance of caution, as there have been no reports of illnesses associated with the products, as yet.
Over 46,000 cases are included in the nationwide recall. They were produced in February and were distributed nationwide.
According to the news relase, the possible contamination occurred due to process deviations at a co-pack facility not owned or operated by Bug Juice.
