July 22, 2016

General Motors says they may be forced to issue recalls for another 4.3 million vehicles due to the potentially defective Takata air bags inflators. GM previously recalled 1.9 million vehicles in May, and added recalls for another 600,000 vehicles in June.

Takata airbag inflators have been linked to 13 deaths and over 100 injuries. the NHTSA reiterated their position that scientific data slows the inflators become unsafe over time, and even faster when exposed to humidity and temperature variations....climate conditions that we, at the law office of Verner Smith, feel should especially concern Tennessee residents.
