Beware of facebook coupon scams!

April 24, 2017

Scammers are using Mother's Day and Spring fix-up time as an opportunity to steal your information.  Share this blog to prevent your friends from getting ripped off or having their identity stolen!

Coupons such as the one shown above are popping up on facebook timelines as friends think they are part of a special promotional offer from Lowes, Target, Walmart, Kroger, Home Depot, and others.

The links look official enough to fool folks, and during the 'simple survey' process, they may unwittingly be giving up personal and bank information that the culprits are using for nefarious purposes. Ultimately, they get your information, and you never get the discount card from the bogus offer.
