Tennessee's #1 selling truck being recalled due to door danger

October 20, 2017

According to Business Insider magazine, the Ford F-150 was the #1 selling truck last year in Tennessee. Now Ford has announced a nationwide recall of 1.3 million F-series trucks due to a door latch problem that could result in the door opening while the truck is being driven. The problem latch could also prevent the door from opening when needed. The models affected include year 2015, 2016, and 2017 F-150's. Some 2017 Super Duty trucks are involved in the recall as well.  To see if your vehicle is included in this recall, click here.

Ford says they are unaware of any accidents or injuries associated with this problem, at this time.
